Friday, July 26, Saranello’s is joining forces with Ashley Hooks (Miss Illinois USA 2012) to host Prosecco on the Patio, a food and wine event to raise money and awareness for Bright Pink. The event is from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm and will feature antipasto tables with produce from local farms, oysters on the half shell and shrimp from The Seafood Merchants and artisanal cheese and charcuterie. Saranello’s signature pizza will be passed as well as Prosecco and Prosecco cocktails compliments of Terlato Wines International.

Adding to the excitement, Chef Mychael Bonner has enlisted the help of Lettuce chefs including David DiGregorio of Osteria Via Stato, Chris Evangelides of Reel Club and Dave Boehm of Di Pescara to man the chef stations. Special guest, Mario Rizzotti of Food Network's Iron Chef America will be throwing on his chef's coat to help cook for a great cause.
Guests will have the chance to bid on items from Red Door Spa, Brooks Brothers: The Rookery, The Few Institute and a private cooking class for eight people with Mychael Bonner in a silent auction with a chance to win a grand prize of three hours of personal styling/shopping with celebrity stylist, Eric Himel. Goody bags valued at $60 will be handed to the first 50 guests. Tickets are $55 and include tax and gratuity.
